This piece was completed as part of the 2015 ISTD Student Assessment under the theme of ‘Milestones.’ The aim of my ISTD submission was to celebrate the most significant milestones of professional skateboarder Rodney Mullen. The content is taken from his autobiography and chapters were chosen for being the most influential in sculpting his life. The response is a combined poster magazine, which is design to appeal to the target audience and also represents the arena that Rodney Mullen’s early competitions in freestyle skateboarding took place.
